World Economic Forum

What we do

The World Economic Forum Annual Meeting in Davos and regional activities around the world are occasions for leaders to outline major challenges and define strategies to address them.

The Centre for Public-Private Partnerships galvanizes all parts of society for the common good, developing public-private partnerships to tackle crucial international issues, from climate change to corruption. These initiatives draw on the experiences and strengths of many parties - business, NGOs, governments and institutions - to provide holistic solutions.

The Forum has been the catalyst of concrete actions in the global public interest. We will remain committed to our mission to improve the state of the world for many years to come - engaging business, government, religious, cultural and civil society leaders to address together the ways to meet worldwide challenges and emerging risks to make the world a better place.

Our people

To achieve our mission we rely on a team of 270 highly talented, skilled and passionate people, fully dedicated to the Forum's mission, and who constantly strive to win the respect of our members, relentlessly working to understand and meet their needs in a supportive way. Everything our people undertake must be first-class in a work environment that combines the best elements of entrepreneurship with those of global public interest. We value a highly spirited, diverse, impartial and independent workforce attracting people of more than 53 nationalities from business, consulting, NGOs, international institutions, academia, research, public administration and diplomacy. We stand as a global knowledge hub, nurturing a community of learning, focused on what matters and acting as a launch pad for bold actions that reshape the world.

Our specific Global Leadership Fellows Programme provides promising young professionals the unparalleled opportunity to develop as global leaders and prepare for future challenges.
